Can a 9 year old boy attempt to do sexual intercourse with 6 year old girl?
Boss, I am not talking about land of “LOLITA”, it’s happened in the land of “OSHO”.
You must have come across this news. At least I was shocked.
Without looking into the legal complexity of this matter that whether it will amount to rape or not(to prove sexual intercourse penetration is necessary), for a moment I started hating that boy.
Now you must have understood where I am referring. INDORA(village of Kangra District(H.P.))was in news but not for any good reason.
One little kid from this village became youngest rapist. This 9 year old boy was booked for the alleged rape of a six-year-old girl after subjecting her to violent assault. This boy does not belong to a privileged family so this argument is also not having any force that it’s because of Westernisation.
These types of incident are rare in Western part. I am not saying Western youngsters are not inclined towards SEX at tender age. But they do have more awareness on this topic. I consider lack of sex education is one of the pertinent reason. Our conservative groups always raise slogan against Sex education. They believe Sex education and pornography is interchangeable word. They never try to understand that they cannot control selling of Pornographic materials. Pornographic materials are nothing but fantasy world of Sex. It spreads all myth about Sex.
Second and most important reason is Family background. Mostly these natures of cases occur in poor family. Sexual intercourse is only recreational activity for poor people and most of the times all family members live in one room. So they don’t have any other option except to do foreplay in front of their wards.
Lack of proper Sex education, easily availability of Pornographic materials, Family background and...........
All these reasons cumulatively lead to these types of incident.
I believe with full conviction that it may be the first reported case of such nature but it happens and this is the truth.
Dear Hon’ble Policymakers don’t take policy decision from Ivory Towers. Come down and see the truth.

Sirji,
I have come across this news, but there are certain disagreements to your post:
1. How can you advocate of sex education being given at such tender age...9 years come on...do you mean to say had sex education been given to that boy, he wouldn't have done such an act....that means the moment the child gains proper understanding of the world at the age of 5 - 6 ..you should give him sexz education...ohh balls,,do one thing you give sex education to your child at such tender age.
2. It has to be 'live instead of 'leave'.
3. This could be the case that boy might have woke up in the middle of the night, and saw his parents having violent sex...or may be his uncle and aunty..if he would have stayed at his relatives place some time ago...The guy would have not known even the masturbation..how could he know the pleasure of the sex..all he has done is tried to copy what he saw his parents or relatives doing in the middle of the night..or in midst of the day, (if they are too horny):P
It is a welcomed approach on Neta's part to share his bit of concern on one of such reported incidents out of many happenning quite often. But being with him for the last 5 yrs and more closely over the last 3 months at Mumbai, I realise now that more than being so concerned about the social reforming, he is heavily inclined only towards sex..sex n sex. Its like the Coca cola commercial with slight modification to suit Neta's thought...'Eat SEX, Drink SEX n Sleep SEX'. Out of the little time we steal from our work during the day in the internship, I have noticed that he is revealing the utmost urge in all of the conversations to discuss only about SEX. Whether we speak of the latest movie that hit the theatre or the new intern who joined the office or the young lady counsel crossing the street in a hurry near Fountain, Kala Ghora (a place in Mumbai)to be on time to present her case before the busy judge in the High Court, he finds his share of the thought restricted only to focus and discuss about SEX out of all this. His thought process is resembling the same special feature that we find these days in the Digital cameras...'Focus only on the object and blurring the rest'. He is just doing the same. In all that you see around and think, 'Focus only on SEX and blur the rest'. This is the only reason why he early in the morning after stepping in the office, abandoned work and sat long to put down his thoughts on the discussed topic. Presently in Mumbai besides me n Neta, Vikash is also with us for the last 3 months. He is also equally concerned like me for Neta n v r sure..before leaving Mumbai..v shall make sure he leaves all his 'SEX' inclinations behind here in this Commercial capital..n come down to Raipur to be the same charismatic person he has always been...all of u pray for the quick change in him before he leaves this commercial city..
All respect for freedom of expression & thought to all the regular visitors of this blog.
@ sayan ---Company also matters friend. Because he is interning with you, i can understand the effect of your company on my beloved friend (aditya).
From your comment it seems that you were more desperate and are more desperate for ...
In your small comment the word "sex" appears nearly more than 30 times.
Howsoever, aditya's post on his blog was in goodfaith because its really a sorry state of affairs at age of 9.
Something has to be done at the policy level so that the future of india remains in a safe zone & developmental agenda ( socio- econimc) is met.
@ abhishek Jain -- Dude think twice before posting a comment like this one.
hope this comment did not hurt anyone's great benevolent feeling & expression of thought.

Dear Abhishek, even after witnessing all these incidents if student of a prestigious law school is arguing in this way, one can easily figure out mentality of layman.
Dear Sayan, I believe Ravi has rightly responded on your query.
Guys no doubt it is a topic of hot debate, but the issue needs to be dealt with profound thought.
We may curse the policy makers for not dealing with such scenario adequately BUT do they have any choice. In a society where a woman is paraded naked in the whole village for adultery, where a youth is skinned for marrying a girl in his caste, where honour killings are common. And when a change is sought by those very policy makers IT IS THE VERY SOCIETY THAT RESISTS IT. AND POLICY MAKERS ARE ALSO RELUCTANT TO DO THE SAME AS THAT SOCIETY IS THEIR BASE OF POWER.
TO CITE AN WIDESPREAD EXAMPLE....HAS ANY LEADER IN INDIAN POLITICS TACKLED THE ISSUE OF RESERVATION PROPERLY, WHENEVER THE SC HAS INTERFERED THEY HAVE SLAPPED IT BY AMENDMENTS TIME AND AGAIN
